Logistics & SCM Director & Business Development Manager / BCA College

Mr. Marios Bougioukas is a Chief Officer of the Merchant Navy and Director of the Department of Logistics & Supply Chain Management at BCA College. He is a graduate of the College’s Business Administration Department and holds two Master’s degrees (an MA in Management and an MBA) from the Business School of London Metropolitan University.
He later graduated from the Mediterranean Maritime Academy in Limassol. He also holds the European Certification in Logistics, in accordance with the standards of the European Logistics Association.
At an institutional level, he has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Chios Marine Club since April 2022, and of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Logistics Association (EEL) since February 2023, and as of February 2025 serving as a VP of Operations.
His academic career in higher education began in 2012 at BCA, initially in the Department of Marketing and Communication. Since 2016, he has been part of the Shipping Department, where he currently serves as Director of Development, and since 2022, he has assumed his current duties in the Department of Logistics & Supply Chain Management. He also coordinates the Academic Boards of the College for the Departments of Shipping and Supply Chain Management. Additionally, since November 2024, he has been a lecturer in the course “Leadership and Teamwork” at the Mediterranean Maritime Academy.
His career in the shipping industry began as a Deck Cadet at Aeolos Management S.A. and Neptune Lines, serving on a VLCC and a Car Carrier, respectively. He later worked as Third Officer on cruise ships operated by Variety Cruises. Since August 2024, he has been active in the coastal shipping sector, serving as Chief Mate on vessels of Saronic Ferries.
