Logistics Network Manager, ION
Giannis Aloupis was born and raised in Athens. He studied Business Administration at the University of Piraeus and holds a Graduate Diploma in Logistics Management.
He started his career in sales at the company RECOR S.A. (Dairy and Confectionery products) as Sales Supervisor and later as Sales Manager.
In 1992, he started at Chipita S.A. as Product Manager (Marketing department). In 1998, he was appointed as Packaging Manager. In 2003 he took over the management of the Logistics Department. Since 2022 he worked as Logistics Manager Internal Flow in Mondelēz S.A
Since June 2024 he works at ION (Cocoa & Chocolate Industry) as Logistics Network Manager (Supply Chain department).
In the meantime, he is a Lecturer at BCA College for the module “Inventory & Operations Management”.
He is a BoD member in EEL (Hellenic Logistics Association) and since 2021 he acts as Vice-President of Finance. He is a member of the Supply Cain Development and Competitiveness Council (founded by the Hellenic Republic’s Ministry of Infrastructure & Transport)
